Bonar Diat Senan Putro (b.1982) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His practice focuses on environmental issues, particularly deforestation and plastic waste, as metaphors for social and economic structures under capitalism.
Working with reclaimed wood and recycled plastic, he transforms discarded materials into sculptural objects and custom toys, exploring themes of fragility, identity, and ecological consciousness. He is also an educator who integrates environmental awareness into his creative practice.
